Salon 426: A Loveland Salon Built on History, Craft, and Collaboration

Salon 426 is more than just a salon—it’s a space with deep roots, real history, and a story shaped by long-term commitment and craftsmanship. Located at 426 W. Loveland Ave., Loveland, OH 45140, the building has been thoughtfully cared for and evolved over decades to become the creative, welcoming salon it is today.

 

Approximately 28 years ago, Greg Stevens purchased this building with a clear vision: to create a lasting salon space that felt intentional, functional, and elevated. When the building was first converted into a salon, I worked alongside Greg to help bring that vision to life—transforming the space into a working salon environment that balanced practicality with character.

 

Years later, we’ve come full circle. Today, it’s just Greg and me working hands-on in the building again, continuing renovations and improvements to refine the space once more. These updates honor the original structure while modernizing the salon for today’s stylists and clients.

 

Greg and I previously worked together at salons such as Mitchell’s Salon & Day Spa many years ago. Reconnecting professionally after all these years has been exciting and very natural.

 

This project is also personal to me. Greg is the amazing father of my niece and nephew, and our collaboration is built on trust, shared history, and mutual respect. Salon 426 represents care, integrity, and pride in the details—a space built to last.
